Plan-it Earth offers a range of off-the-shelf and tailor-made Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development Packages designed to satisfy your needs and interests.

As vehicles for exploring sustainability, there is a wide variety of workshops that our dedicated team of professionals can offer, including: bushcraft skills; shelter building; fire making; green woodworking; charcoal making; blacksmithing; wild food foraging; story telling; recycled clothes making; felting; natural dyeing - all offered in a fun and meaningful way whilst gaining an understanding of the importance of living sustainably.

On site facilities include:

On request Plan-it Earth can provide an Educational site tour - explaining the different components of the Plan-it Earth site (use of livestock, vegetable gardening, windbreaks, shelterbelts, wildlife corridors, composting toilets, woodburning showers, Wetland ecological water treatment system, coppice, woodland, polytunnel, orchard and soft fruits, cob bread oven, well water, forest garden, wildlife pond, nut hedge, wild fruits and foods, charcoal making ...!), and the Permaculture design principles and techniques that have led to their choice and placement.

In order to satisfy our current Planning Permission, all structures are temporary, nevertheless they are designed for year-round use. When our current temporary permission expires in 2011, we aim to gain permission to construct a low impact, low cost permanent Environmental Education Centre, based on the locally indigenous round houses using reclaimed, and natural local materials. As well as a classroom/workshop space, this will be a year-round resource for the local community.
